Computer Controlled Injections
Much more comfortable and accurate injections
COMPUTER CONTROLLED INJECTIONS
The Wand has taken Dental anesthesia out of the 1800s. It’s not quite like the one on Star Trek, but it’s close.
The ergonomically designed hand piece enables injections to be more comfortable and easier to perform, resulting in improved clinical outcomes for patients. The unique pen-like grasp produces unparalleled tactile control for every injection and allows bi-directional rotation during injection, which prevents needle deflection that occurs with a traditional syringe. A straighter path results in a more accurate injection, meaning fewer missed injections and more rapid onset of medication.
It is estimated that nearly 50% of the U.S. population experience some anxiety when visiting the dentist. Moreover, 40 million Americans are termed “dental phobics,” persons with such severe anxiety that they avoid dental care altogether. In fact, nearly 25% of all dental appointments are canceled because of this phobia.
