Digital X-Ray
Digital x-rays are quickly becoming the standard in dental imaging.
DIGITAL X-RAY
Our office is equipped with Seprolise intraoral cameras, allowing the dentist and the patient to view digital x-rays. Digital x-rays allow the doctor to get a much better view of your teeth and potential dental conditions with a fraction of the previously needed radiation. The digital imaging software allows the doctor to see a number of different views of the tooth to gain a better understanding of the proper course of management. Digital x-rays decrease exposure to the patient by over 80%. This translates to one traditional dental film equaling five digital exposures! In addition to benifiting the patient, digital imaging benifits the environment. The chemicals needed to develop films and the film itself are completely eliminated.
